Joseph went from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth to Judea, to Bethlehem, the city of David
to be registered with Mary, the one having been betrothed to him as wife, she being pregnant.
While they were there, the days were completed for her to give birth. Luke 2

Mary birthed her firstborn Son
The nation of Israel was under the cruel bondage of Rome. Everyone was forced to return the birthplace of their
ancestors to be registered so Rome could force them to pay taxes. Mary was pregnant and ready to deliver.
Joseph was not the father. There was no place to stay. God’s plan was taking place amid extreme difficulty.
There was no one there to bathe the baby. No water, no fire and no light. A cold manger was the bed and the bathtub.
Mary was flesh and blood just as we, and must have felt miserable, and Joseph too, all alone and far from home
with no one to help, in a strange land in the middle of winter. This song has become very well known. Listen.
Mary, did you know:

When Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ was betrothed to Joseph,
Before they came together she was found to be with Child by the Holy Spirit.
An angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph her husband in a dream, saying,

Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife,
for the Child who has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.

She will bear a Son and you shall call His name Yeshua (Jesus, meaning Salvation),
for He will save His people from their sins.
And Joseph took Mary as his wife, but kept her a virgin until she gave birth to a Son and Named Him Yeshua.
Matthew 1 - After Jesus was born Mary and Joseph came together sexually and had other children.

May you be blessed by the Nativity of our Saviour! Smile
These are days of celebration all over the world, and soon we enter a new year.

The word Christmas was taken from pagan witchcraft and popularized by the evil Roman Catholic Church
which is the same as Islam at its roots. Mass is death sacrifice. Christmas means the death, departure of Christ.
Dont blame me, I didnt make any of this up! I heard it on radio and googled.

We can get too legalistic too, dont do that. But never again say Merry Christmas, it DOES NOT honor Messiah Jesus.
I will begin to say Shalom or enjoy the season or Happy Holidays, and
just smile and say 'you too' when others wish me a Merry Christmas.

YESHUA Jesus the Christ Child was born in September - not December.
A pope moved the date to the winter solstice pagan holiday.
Sheep dont lamb in December, its too cold.

Birth of Yeshua, Jesus Christ - WHEN?
Since some rabbis have said Yeshua Jesus the Messiah was born in September, I looked to see if
lambs are born then in the Holy Land, Mideast. YES! Interesting holiday fact.
When Jesus was born is not important or the bible would tell us. He was born, died - and HE LIVES!

OK, JESUS Yeshua Messiah was NOT born in December.
HE was more likely born in June or July, but HE WAS BORN.

CHRISTmas is in September.
Jesus was born in September, not December.
One webpage link says September 11.
I dont know about the 11th .. but that sure would be interesting if true.

People like to point to Pope Liberius, who in
354 AD decreed Christmas to be celebrated December 25th.
In reality it was the Roman Emperor,
Constantine who declared December 25th
to be Christ's birthday in the year 336 A.D.
What was his reason for this?
It was based on political pressure!

When dealing with Jews, it is wise to call Him
'Yeshua', not Jesus. Jesus is meaningless in the Hebrew
language, whereas Yeshua has a wonderful meaning to them!

Jesus is the reSON for the seaSON

When Rome was a great Empire ruled by Caesar Augustus and Israel
was governed by King Herod, in the village of Nazareth lived
Joseph and Mary. Joseph was a carpenter and Mary was a young
virgin who would become his wife. Mary told Joseph of a dream
in which she was visited by an angel who told her she had been
chosen to bear the Son of God and his name was to be Jesus.

One day the emperor sent notice that all persons to register for
a new tax. They were instructed to return to the towns of their
birth. Joseph & Mary left Nazareth for Bethlehem. Mary who was
with child, and close to the birth, rode on a donkey while
Joseph walked beside her. They traveled for many days and only rested at night.

When they reached Bethlehem it was night. They looked for a
place to rest but there were no empty rooms when they reached
the inn. As they were being turned away Joseph mentioned his
wife was with child and close to birth. The inn keeper took pity
on them and told them of some caves in the nearby hills that
shepherds would stay with their cows and sheep.

So Joseph and Mary went up into the hills and found the caves.
In one cave was a stable room. Joseph cleaned it and made beds
of fresh hay. He found a feeding trough which he cleaned and
filled with hay to use as a crib. The next night Mary gave birth
to a son and they named him YESHUA (Jesus).

When the child was born a great star appeared over Bethlehem
that could be seen for miles around. In the fields nearby
shepherds were tending their flocks. An angel appeared to them
surrounded by bright light. The shepherds were frightened and tried to run.

The angel said "Fear Not, For I bring you tidings of great joy.
For unto you is born this day in Bethlehem - a Saviour who is
the Messiah! Christ the Lord."

"And this shall be a sign unto you. You shall find the babe
wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger."

Suddenly the sky was filled with angels, praising God saying,
"Glory to God in the Highest, on Earth peace, good will toward men."

After the angels departed the shepards set out for Bethlehem.
When they reached the cave they found the stable and inside was
the child wrapped in swaddling clothes.

			Baby Jesus Circumcized

On the 8th day, when it was time to circumcise Jesus, Joseph and Mary took him to the temple in Jerusalem to present him to the Lord.
Righteous Simeon was waiting there for the consolation of Israel (Messiah).
GOD had revealed to him that he would not die before he had seen the Lord's Christ.
When the parents brought in the Child Jesus, Simeon took Him in his arms and praised God saying,

Lord, now let Your servant depart in peace, for my eyes have seen your Salvation.
Then Joseph and Mary returned home to Nazareth in Galilee.

		The Flight to Egypt
		Matthew 2

Now when they had gone, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said,
“Get up! Take the Child and His mother and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you;
for Herod is going to search for the Child to destroy Him.”

So Joseph got up and took the Child and His mother while it was still night, and left for Egypt.
He remained there until the death of Herod. This was to fulfill what had been spoken by the Lord through the prophet:

OUT of EGYPT I CALLED MY SON

Herod Slaughters Babies

Then when Herod saw that he had been tricked by the magi, he became very enraged, and sent and
killed all the male children who were in Bethlehem and all its vicinity, from two years old and under,
according to the time which he had determined from the magi.
Then what had been spoken through Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled:

A VOICE WAS HEARD IN RAMAH, WEEPING AND GREAT MOURNING,
RACHEL WEEPING FOR HER CHILDREN AND SHE REFUSED TO BE COMFORTED,
BECAUSE THEY WERE NO MORE.

But when Herod died, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, and said,

“Get up, take the Child and His mother, and go into the land of Israel; for those who sought the Child’s life are dead.”

So Joseph got up, took the Child and His mother, and came into the land of Israel.
But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning over Judea in place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there.

Then after being warned by God in a dream, he left for the regions of Galilee, and came and lived in a city called Nazareth.
This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophets: He shall be called a Nazarene.

Nations will come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising. Isaiah 60:3 When did the Magi, wise men visit Jesus?
After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, Magi (wise men) from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, 'Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him.' The Magi followed the star until it stopped over the place where the child was. You, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are not least among the rulers of Judah, for out of you will come a Ruler who will be the shepherd of My people Israel. Jesus was several months old, possibly near age 2 when the magi arrived. After they left, God warned Joseph to flee to Egypt, because wicked King Herod was killing children age 2 and under. The Magi (probably Persian astronomers) did not visit Jesus in Bethlehem, but in Joseph's home in Nazareth. Joseph needed those gifts to afford this trip. The gifts were symbolic of Jesus sacrifice on the cross. Myrrh represented His burial - embalming. Look up frankincense and myrrh in scripture. Frankincense is a sweet savour unto the LORD in sacrifice. the magi knew this. Luke 2: Matthew 2: What is this coming up from the wilderness like columns of smoke, Perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, with all scented powders of the merchant? Song of Songs 3 As the star shined over Bethlehem, in the east 3 kings would see it. They knew it was a sign and they set off to follow the star. There was Caspar, the young King of Tarsus, Melchior, a long-bearded old man and leader of Arabia, and Balthazar - the king from Ethiopia. They traveled on camels for many days over the mountains, and through the deserts, and plains. Always following the bright star. When they finally arrived in Bethlehem they found the child in the manger. The 3 kings bowed to their knees and offered gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. They would stay the night in the cave and the next day returned to their lands to spread the news. PROPHECY FULFILLED! After 1600 years, the Sanhedrin, the ruling religious court of Israel has been reestablished There was a link about this a few years ago but the url is dead. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MESSIAH YESHUA, JESUS the CHRIST!! I HEARD the BELLS on CHRISTMAS DAY I heard the bells on Christmas Day their old famliar Carols play. Wild and sweet the words repeat of peace on earth good will to men And in despair I bowed my head, There is no peace on earth, I said, for hate is strong and mocks the song of peace on earth good will to men Then pealed the bells more loud and deep "God is not dead nor does he sleep! The wrong shall fail, the right prevail for peace on earth good will to men!" We do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us, He searches the Mind of God and answers.
