HE WHO WATCHES OVER ISRAEL WILL NEITHER SLUMBER NOR SLEEP.

The Mideast faces FOUR POSSIBILITIES
www.watch.org
1. Israel is attacked by Syrian or Iranian missiles, and
Israel responds by "nuking" Damascus, a fulfillment
of Isaiah 17:1
2. The Gog and Magog War will take place, as prophesied by
Ezekiel 38 and 39. (Note: as explained in my Ezekiel 38
analysis last week, many believe it is too early because of
the time of peace spoken about in Ezekiel 38:14)
3. The parties (Israel and Palestine and/or Syria) come back to
the peace table, and agree to the covenant mentioned in
Daniel 9:27 (Note: Daniel 9:26 says the covenant will be
confirmed by 'the ruler who will come,' and most scholars
agree that man is the predicted antichrist.)
4. The current and unresolved Middle East drama will
continue, with no peace deal in sight.
Reservoir bursts, flooding part of kibbutz near Gaza
Ha'aretz Service
A flood caused by a burst water reservoir forced the evacuation
of one neighborhood of Kibbutz Nahal Oz on the Gazaborder.
The western side of a reservoir near the kibbutz "exploded due
to unknown causes" and 3 million cubic meters of water
streamed out with force, forcing the temporary closure of a
nearby highway. There were no known casualties. Earlier,
Palestinian gunners in Gaza shelled Nahal Oz with mortar
fire in the first such attack on southern Israel since 1967.

EGYPT PRO IRAQ! BAD SIGN!
The Arab world is still deeply divided over Saddam Hussein's Iraq.
One of the two main camps is led by the Saudis and Kuwaitis who
want to block pro-Iraqi decisions and the moves to restore Iraq
to the Arab fold. The other, led by Egypt and Syria, favors Iraq's
full rehabilitation in the Arab arena. The argument has caused
the Palestinian question to be dropped to second place
Other decisions call for unreserved Arab support for the
Palestinian intifada, a $40m a month subsidy to finance the
struggle, a demand to try Israeli leaders as war criminals and
a committee to consider re-activating anti-Israel Arab boycott.
The last item was put forward by Syria.
Arafat Plans Revived Palestinian Strikes from Lebanon
March 25: Syrian ruler Beshar Assad has decided he won't
meet Arafat after all, even in Amman. Assad is willing to
discuss anything but that. For years, Fatah factions of
south Lebanon have kept their distance from Arafat,
objecting to Oslo. Lebanon-based Palestinians launch terrorist
strikes against Israeli targets in Galilee and Golan is Arafat1s
ploy for opening his own second front against Israel, without
depending on a by-your-leave from the Hizballah and Syria.
March 25: Yasser Arafat, for 34 years the spearhead and
symbol of the Palestinian struggle for recognition, cannot
count the 7 years since his most signal success, the
1993 Oslo Peace Accords, mixed success at best.
1. Two Arab summit conferences in less than 6 months, the first in
Cairo last year and the coming session next Tuesday in Amman,
focused on the Palestinian question. Yet the Arab rulers
overwhelmingly failed to deliver on their pledges in Cairo and
may continue to withhold funds from the Palestinians in Amman
2. Arafat is recognized as a power in the Arab world, capable of
bringing the Arab masses out on the streets in riots supporting the
Palestinians and threatening their own governments. But his
strength as a destabilizer has turned important Arab rulers against
him, determined to starve him of the resources for pursuing the
Palestinian struggle, the intifada. To get those resources, he must
give up his armed struggle in favor of long-term development under
close scrutiny from the Arab Bank, the IMF and World Bank.
3. Arafat has thrown off his economic dependence on Western
backers and distanced the Palestinians from Western cultural
influences, re-connecting them with Islamic values &
strengthening his alliance with Islamic Hamas. His post-Oslo
reversion to terrorism as an instrument of diplomacy has cost
him dear in the West, especially in the United States.

GOD's NEWS, PROPHECY and WORLD NEWS
THIS IS THE JUDGMENT
that the Light has come into the world,
and men loved the darkness rather than the Light,
for their deeds were evil.
GOD so loved the world that he gave his only Son,
that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have
Eternal LIFE. For God did not send his Son into the world
to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
He who believes in Him is not judged;
he who does not believe has been judged already,
because he has not believed in the name of the only
begotten Son of God. John 3:16-19
