GEORGIA-RUSSIA Balance of Power
The Russian invasion of Georgia has not changed the balance of power in Eurasia.
It simply revealed the balance of power had already shifted. The United States has
been absorbed in its wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as potential conflict with
Iran and a destabilizing situation in Pakistan. It has no strategic ground forces in
reserve and is in no position to intervene on the Russian periphery.
This has opened a window of opportunity for the Russians to reassert their influence
in the former Soviet sphere. Moscow did not have to concern itself with the potential
response of the United States or Europe, hence, the invasion did not shift the
balance of power. The balance of power had already shifted, and it was up to
the Russians when to make this public, which they did August 8, 2008.

USA supply planes land in TbilisiAug 14 Direct US-Russian military clashes in Georgia are possible if the
Russians fail to give way to supplies from USA. US president George W Bush
ordered an American Air Force-Navy humanitarian airlift to Georgia, demanding that
Russia open all routes to these deliveries and to civilian transit. After 7 days of
Russian-Georgian warfare, that amounted to a bid to break the Russian blockade.
The US Air Force C-17 military cargo plane with humanitarian and medical aid landed
in Georgia. Russia's Lavrov called Georgia's leadership "a special project of the
United States." It is, and also has close ties with Israel. Bush reiterated US support
for Georgia's democratically-elected government and territorial integrity and declared
Russia must cease all military acts and withdraw to positions held before the conflict flared.

US to Transfer Bio Weapons to Georgia August 13th, 2008 Plum Island website said the United States
commenced a `research project' under the guise of Foreign Animal Disease
Vaccinations and Diagnostics in June, to study African Swine Fever (ASFV)
and to conduct `biological counter measures'. (Read behind the news)
The study will recruit a scientist from Georgia to come to Plum Island for training
in foreign animal disease (FAD), vaccination discovery, inclusive of cell culture,
viral analysis, sequencing and necropsy. The scientist will also have access to
viral samples and genomic sequencing. He will then teach what he learns to

the Gerogia's semi-autonomous Black Sea region of Ajaria. The Russian Black Sea
buildup is deployed opposite Batumi, an important port for the shipment of oil from
Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan. Its oil refinery handles Caspian oil from Azerbaijan.
Moscow is preparing to punish Georgian president Mikhail Saakashvili by occupying
this coastal strip on Georgia's border with Turkey. The Kremlin did not like the
appearance of Ukraine's president Yushchenko and others alongside Saakashvili
at a huge rally in Tbilisi. Moscow will not only punish Georgia, but gain a strategic
Black Sea foothold at Turkey's back door and a gateway to Kazakhstan,

Aug 12 Russia wants the Georgian president Mikhail Saakashvili to resign.
Russia denied Russian troops were ever in Georgian territory, but only in the
"peacekeeping" regions of South Ossetia and Abkhazia. Moscow reserved
the right to respond militarily to future Georgian attacks.
The Kremlin claims Russian President Medvedev has ordered an end to
military operations against Georgia, after restoring security for civilians and
peacekeepers in South Ossetia. However, Russia has been highly critical of
Georgia's leadership, and there were no signs of imminent talks.
Russian warplanes bomb Gori, Georgia, several people were killed when a
Russian bomb hit a Georgia hospital.
Georgia said the country had been overrun by Russian troops after a full-scale
ground invasion. Moscow forces had taken the town of Gori and were marching
on the capital Tsblisi. Georgian soldiers appeared to be in full retreat. The civilian
crisis intensified with thousands of refugees fleeing the advance of the Russian army.
The US military was surprised by the timing and swiftness of Russia's move, and is
still trying to sort out what happened. Russian forces surged into the region after
weeks of clashes, threats and warnings between Tblisi and Moscow which culminated
August 6 in a two-day Georgian offensive into South Ossetia.
That the two countries were on a collision course was no surprise to anyone,
but the devastating Russian response was not expected

As usual, the BBC is distorting the news coming out of the Georgia region.
We are told that around 1500 have been killed in Georgia from Russian bombing.
Not so, the casualties are in Ossetia. While the Ossetians claimed over
1000 dead from Georgian shelling, the BBC did not report this.
All we are getting is one-sided reports of the destruction being caused by the Russians.

snarling traffic. Residents within a one-mile radius were ordered to evacuate
immediately, and police brought in buses to take residents out of the area.

3 US naval forces due in Persian GulfAug 11 The USA will have 5 strike forces in MidEast waters. This consists

The last day's alignment of political power may be decidedly different from what many

The "little horn" is described in Revelation. One layer of the ten kings is an Islamic
confederacy, OPEC. Israel is "the little horn" that finds itself in military conflict with
OPEC. While the identification of Israel as the little horn does not exhaust the
prophecy (on another level the "little horn" is the Antichrist himself), this perspective
plainly predicts that we will see Israel destroy ("pluck up") at least 3 of her current
Islamic opponents in the near future.
Ezekiel 38:22 clearly shows that Gog and Magog will be utterly destroyed

and brimstone" The identification of Russia as Gog is impossible since Russia
is an integral part of the beast empire of the Antichrist well after the invasion of Israel.
