THIS DO in REMEMBERANCE of ME
We partake of Communion to honor and remember Jesus' death and
resurrection until He comes again to take us home!
Myself I do not believe there is any age limit. I believe
small children are welcome here.
Communion is preparing YOURSELF to be worthy to host the Lord.
We are the ONLY BIBLE many will read. When a church allows those
who are in known, intentional SIN, living in open rebellion
against GOD, they will suffer. It will have much sickness in
its midst, and some will even prematurely DIE.
By intentional SIN, I mean accepting in the church couples
living together unwed, accepting the practice of homosex.
These should NOT be accepted in the church! Paul says to put
them OUT of your midst! A little leven (poison) kills all.
LOVE the sinner, HATE the sin. If a couple insists on living in
SIN, that is open rebellion. They should not be allowed in the
sanctuary, or take communion.
Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as
iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the
LORD - 1 Samuel 15:23
1 Corinthians 11:18-34
When you come together as a church, I hear that divisions exist
among you; and in part I believe it. For there must also be
factions among you, so that those who are approved may become
evident among you. Therefore when you meet together, it is not
to eat the Lord's Supper, for in your eating each one takes his
own supper first; and one is hungry and another is drunk.
What! Do you not have houses in which to eat and drink?
Or do you despise the church of God and shame those who have
nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you? In this I
will not praise you.
I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you,
that the Lord Jesus in the night He was betrayed took bread;
And when He had given thanks, He broke it and said,
"This is My body, which is for you;
do this in remembrance of Me."
In the same way He took the cup also after supper, saying,
"This cup is the new covenant in My blood;
Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me."
For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup,
you proclaim the Lord's death until He comes.
For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup,

Whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord
in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of the body
and the blood of the Lord.
But a man must examine himself, and in so doing he is to
eat of the bread and drink of the cup.
For he who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself
if he does not judge the body rightly.
For this reason many among you are weak and sick,
and a number sleep.
But if we judged ourselves rightly, we would not be judged.
When we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord
so that we will not be condemned along with the world.
So then, my brethren, when you come together to eat,
wait for one another.
If anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, so that you will not
come together for judgment.
FORGIVE BEFORE TAKING COMMUNION
Communion involves forgiving any who have hurt you. Our
unforgiveness binds us and those we won't forgive. There is
HEALING in forgiveness. It is NOT easy, it IS mandatory.
We loose - release - others by forgiving them.
"If you forgive the sins of any, their sins have been forgiven them;
if you retain the sins of any, they have been retained."
And when He had said this, He breathed on them and said to them,
"Receive the Holy Spirit. John 20:23
Matthew 16:19
I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven;
whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven,
and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."
Matthew 18:18
"I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth
will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth
will be loosed in heaven.

If you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember
that your brother has something against you, leave your gift
there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to
your brother; then come and offer your gift.
Make friends quickly with your opponent at law while you are
with him on the way, so that your opponent may not hand you
over to the judge, and the judge to the officer, and you be
thrown into prison.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN - to TAKE COMMUNION
in a WORTHY MANNER?
#1 You must be a BELIEVER
#2 must NOT be 'living in sin' .. any sex outside marriage
#3 must not be harboring bitterness, unforgiveness,
against a brother... - examine yourself
GOD's NEWS, PROPHECY and WORLD NEWS
THIS IS THE JUDGMENT
that the Light has come into the world,
and men loved the darkness rather than the Light,
for their deeds were evil.
GOD so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have
Eternal LIFE. For God did not send his Son into the world
to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
He who believes in Him is not judged;
he who does not believe has been judged already,
because he has not believed in the name of the only
begotten Son of God. John 3:16-19
