The power of God fell on my soul,
That power of God to make me whole.
I felt the fire, the pressure, the toll;
Making a diamond of a lump of coal.

Once I was black & worthless & cold;
Now I have value within His fold.
My setting His choice from day today,
His Light reflecting in His own way.

People see clearly the Lord's lovely Light,
And God follows the flashs 
by the power of His Might!
Each person I touch, the Lord touchs too,
And leaves Himself with them,
to teach what is true.

Oh, I often still FEEL 
like that old lump of coal,
But the Lord's still at work,
deep in my soul!
He's still refining & cutting this stone,
And He shall continue until I am home!

I can't live by FEELING, 
for that is just sand.
Only by God's Word of Truth can I stand.
The Father has told me that I am His son,
And He will preserve me til my life is done.

THIS IS THE JUDGMENT
that the Light has come into the world, 
and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, 
for their deeds were evil.  

GOD so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have
Eternal LIFE. For God did not send his Son into the world
to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

He who believes in Him is not judged;
he who does not believe has been judged already, 
because he has not believed in the name of the only 
begotten Son of God.  John 3:16-19
