I am seeing great controversy over the gifts of the Spirit.
Above all gifts the LORD is crying for UNITY in His Church.
Unity is not uniformity; not sameness, not lockstep.
Unity is accepting one another at the base of His cross.
OK, fine .. you believe that doctrine, I believe this one
but we BOTH love our Lord. 

Would we not be more effective fighting satan and winning souls
if we were not so busy bickering with our brothers?  UNITY is
something my Father, my LORD has put passionately and very
intensely on my heart.
This is mandatory these dark and dangerous days!

Whether in PART or in WHOLE, some of these prophecies today are
TRUE and ACCURATE.  One brother, Bryan has listed a lot of states
he says will suffer bombing.  The few states escaping bombing will
quake. Now the test of this prophet is not - will EVERY state he
lists be annihilated.  Why does he send this list?

CLEAN UP!!  SHAPE UP!!  WE're GOING UP!
I am ready if America is bombed. I am passionately proclaiming
whatever the Lord lays on my heart.  Day by day He leads as by
the pillar of fire.
TIME is SHORT to proclaim HIM!!


PROTECTION

Even if a nuclear bomb hit on top of my home, GOD can protect me
if He yet has purpose for my life.  All electricity can go out 
about me, yet mine will work, if I am to be on the internet.
Remember Egypt plagues, but Israel was OK?

DO NOT FEAR!  If an earthquake shakes where I live, all will fall
all around, yet I will be left standing.  This is God's children's
habitation!  Read about Rahab!  In San Francisco, an entire
neighborhood was devastated some years back, porn shops
demonlished.  Yet one building dedicated to GOD stood untouched.

EARTHQUAKES

I watch.  Quakes have increased in America
and all along the western edge of the plate. Alaska's had
a lot of tremors, as has California - more and stronger than usual.
They can be FORE shocks, meaning something WORSE is about to
happen, or after shocks.

For many of you, this is prophecy 101 I know.  The prophet
declares truth.  It can be natural knowledge, historical,
verifiable. It can also be predictive.  When a land accepts sins
like baby killing and homosex, God throws the people out.

"You shall NOT lie with a male as one lies with a female:
it is an ABOMINATION. The land has become DEFILED, therefore
I have visited its punishment upon it so the land
will spit out its inhabitants."  Leviticus 18
  
I have read the Bible many times and I know my Lord very well.
The things He has done and the way He has acted in the past are
a good guide for how He will act now, and in the days to come.
We also have the Revelation and other passages to tell us how 
He will act in the LAST DAYS.  A prophet will base what they say
on this.  It is DEDUCTION more than PREDICTION.

EXAMPLE:
I have watched earthquakes since 1967.  I deduce a major
disastrous earthquake will occur on the California west coast 
and/or in New York and/or along the Mississippi River.  This is
a deduction based on history and fact.  It may also be predictive.


Is Prophecy for TODAY?

The prophetic gift and office do exist today.
The office, the gift, and the prophet or prophetess
are much malaigned and misunderstood, as was true in
Old Testament times also.

It is difficult to sort thru which prophecies are RIGHT,
which are in error, and which are PARTLY TRUE.

Today, all prophecies are up to the Body of Christ to discern.
We are not DEPENDENT, we are not INDEPENDENT,
we are INTER-DEPENDENT.

Chapter 14 of 1 Corinthians details how we depend on each other,
which is inter-dependent. To be totally independent is unhealthy
and subjects us to error, straying from the absolute faith.
To be dependent is a sign of sickness inside, no strength of
spirit, and subjects us to the enemy of our souls.


1 Corinthians 14:22-33
Tongues are for a sign,
not to those who believe but to unbelievers


PROPHECY is for a sign not to unbelievers but to those who
believe. Let 2 or 3 prophets speak, and let the others judge the
word (not the person!). But if a revelation is made to another
who is seated, the first one must keep silent. For you can ALL
prophesy one by one, so that all may learn and all may be
exhorted (encouraged), and the spirits of prophets are subject
to prophets; for God is not a God of confusion but of peace,
as in all the churches of the saints.

Romans 12 and 1 Corinthians 12,13 & 14 speak of the Spiritual
Gifts and BOTH books were written AFTER Jesus ascended into
heaven. To deny these gifts are still effective is a denial of
Almighty God and His Word.  If the gifts had NOT passed away
with Christ's ascension into Heaven, then they still abide.

True and False Prophecy

It is up to each hearer to discern True and False Prophecy.
We are to judge the words, NOT judge the PERSON!

Some opinions on whether or not prophecy is for today, are:

(1)  prophecy is not for today
(2) there are no modern-day prophets

1 Corinthians 13:9
For we know in part and we prophesy in part

(3) there is a difference between the office of the prophet & the
gifts of prophecy  (There are 3 catagories.  The OFFICE is only
for a FEW, Ephesians 4:11.  The motivation of Romans 12, and the
occasional manifestation of 1 Corinthians 12)

(4) there is difference between personal prophecy and prophecy
collectively for the Church 

(5) the 100% rule determines the test of a true prophet or the
prophecy (meaning that every prophecy declared "of the Lord"
must occur 100% or it reveals a false prophecy or a false prophet)

(6) all prophecy must align with the Holy Scriptures 
(7) prophecy does not foretell but forthtells that which has
already been written in the Holy Scriptures, etc

In these latter days, Believers must learn to discern the
difference between fortune telling, divination, prognostication,
etc, and prophecy, there is a very fine line between them.
We must also discern in love (not legalism) because many
things today are based on an ancient form of divination
found in astrology.  It would virtually be impossible not to
abide by these ancient systems of time and live in our society.

Where one must be careful is not to go beyond the bounds
of the prophetic Scripture.  For instance, Gog and Magog war;
to say prophecy is not for today is a misnomer if applied to this
prophetic event which is to occur at sometime in the future.
This is prophecy.  Also, the evidence of the latter days in
Matthew 24 & 25 is prophecy, wars and rumors of wars are
occurring; and even the rapture is a prophetic future event.
Anyway, the key is to determine and discern the difference
between divination and prophecy is very crucial today,
because it is a form of divination and astrology in which 
THE AntiChrist will use to eventually "control" mankind.
