Dec 1 FINALE Authorities finished removing bodies from the Taj Mahal hotel
Monday, the final site of the Mumbai siege to be cleared, as schools and businesses
reopened and commuters returned to work. The death toll of 172 was
revised down from 195 after authorities said some bodies were counted twice.

The attack had been planned for 6 months, Many terrorists escaped.

blow up the Taj Mahal Palace hotel after first executing British and American tourists
and then taking hostages. They were armed with plastic explosives, and underestimated
the strength of the solid foundations of the 105-year-old Taj. One of the terrorists
had been working in the Taj kitchen for 8 months and had a British passport.

terror attacks in Mumbai, especially their raid on the local Chabad center.
India failed to contain the attacks and raided too lackadaisically. When terrorists

Nov 29 Islamist terrorists murdered all 8 Israeli, Jewish hostages at
Chabad Center. Mumbai in shutdown for second terror wave. Atrocities from the
60-hour ordeal began coming to light when Israeli defense minister Ehud Barak
said that some of the bodies bore signs they had been bound hand and foot and
two Israeli women had been killed hours before the men.
Barak estimated the assault was carried out by 30 gunmen working in groups of
7 who were in touch with additional elements in the city and were linked to a
command base in neighboring countries. He said the attack exceptionally
well-planned, organized and disciplined.
Indian officials believe they set up "advance control rooms" at the Taj Mahal and
Oberoi hotels for prior reconnaissance and even to cache arms and ammunition.
5 Indian police and commandoes were killed in 60 hours of combat in Mumbai.
Some terrorists remain on the loose away their first targets to continue their terror.
Ambulances queued up to take the Taj dead to the mortuary. Indian commandos
were carrying out a room-to-room search for survivors, bodies or ammunition before
they declared the hotel safe. Outside hotel employees with guest lists were trying
to find out who is still missing. There are a lot of dead people lying inside. It's a mess.
Casualties are also feared in the restaurants and lobby, which were full of people.
Saturday morning India said the Taj Palace Hotel was under control and all the
terrorists were dead. Blasts and shots rang out as police went through the rooms
in the vast compound. India's financial capial of Mumbai (Bombay) is shut down,
schools, shops, traffic, against a second terrorist wave as police armed with
machine guns patrol the streets.
Indian investigators are examining a satellite phone and GPS map recovered from a
trawler floating in the Arabian Sea. The crew was missing from the vessel
except for its master whose body was found headless with bound limbs.

Dec 1 Rabbi Holtzberg banned photos of his building, believing terrorists were
seeking intel. He was killed in the India terror attack Nov 26-30. Holtzberg was so
fearful his Jewish center would be attacked that he forbade media photographers from
snapping pictures inside the building, believing terrorists were seeking information
on the building's layout. The Holtzbergs had duel USA and Israeli citizenship.
It is unclear whether the Jews were killed by terrorists or during the raid on the
Chabad house by Indian security forces. Indian forces called incompetent.
Chabad house was specifically targeted in the attack, some terrorists stayed at
Nariman House to scope out the Jewish facilities. A terrorist captured by India said

Nov 28 Investigators believe that Lashkar operatives left Karachi in a
merchant ship early on Wednesday, Nov 26 and came ashore at Mumbai on a
small boat and then split up into small teams to attack multiple locations.
3 of the terrorists who attacked India's financial capital have confessed they are
members of the Pakistan-based Lashkar group.
Lashkar is one of the largest Islamic terrorist groups in South Asia.
One of the terrorists was a resident of Pakistan's Punjab province.

Pakistan denied it, hiding behind a ficticious 'new' group name. WHY deny it,

Nov 28 Lashkar terrorists mounted a second attack on Mumbai's main
rail station. Some of the terrorists are Pakistani British citizens. (Could they be
related to the July 7, 2005 London bombings also called the 7/7 bombings, a

Nov 28 Battles still raging in Chabad house, Explosions heard.
At least 6 Israeli nationals were held hostage in the Chabad. They included
Rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg and family. Rabbi's son, nanny seen leaving place safely.
The soldiers fired smoke bombs into the building and are clearing it room by room
from the top floors, as agreed by the Indian and Israeli governments when it appeared
that the chances of finding living hostages in Chabad declining.

control of Chabad top 2 floors Friday. Commando unit reports 4 terrorists remain in
Chabad House where heavy gunfire and explosions were heard.

Nov 28 Terror Plot Against NYC Subways, heavy police presence in major
cities across U.S. During Holidays. Federal authorities are warning of a possible
terror plot against the New York City subway and train systems during the

Nov 29 CORRECTION Long Island New York Wal-Mart worker died after
being trampled when hundreds of shoppers smashed through the doors. The worker
tried to hold back the unruly crowds just after the Valley Stream store opened at 5 am.
Crazed shoppers knocked the man down, and was stepped on by 200 people.
It was first reported that a woman was also trampled and miscarried.
She went to the hospital - now its reported that she and her baby are OK.

Small Arkansas Earthquakes Could be Warning
Nov 28 The potential for a high magnitude earthquake is real. A series of
small earthquakes that rattled central Arkansas in recent weeks could be a sign of
something much bigger to come. Seismologists hope to install measurement devices
to gather data in the area which could show whether the rumbles come from
heat-related geological changes or from an undiscovered fault which could mean
a risk of substantial earthquakes in the future.
Five earthquakes under 2.7 have hit central Arkansas in November, and central
