Russian Missile Over Alaska Oct 11-12 Oct 11 Saturday A Russian submarine-launched ballistic missile made a record flight, hitting a target in the middle of the Pacific Ocean for the first time. This is part of naval exercises in the northern Barents Sea. Russian TV showed the Sineva missile launched Saturday. It flew 7,100 miles into the Pacific near the equator. That had to sail over ALASKA!! Russia also test fired a truck-mounted Topol ICBM on Sunday Oct 12 from north Russia. Half an hour later it hit the Kamchatka peninsula in the Pacific. They preyed on the poor The rising prices ushered in speculators who accounted for roughly a quarter of sales. They would buy and sell houses over short periods of time expecting to profit. They pursued adjustable rate mortgages with the smallest down payments, knowing the home would soon be sold again. As borrowers began to default on their loans, high housing prices began to fall. When the speculators realized they could no longer make a profit, they left the market, leaving the investors who backed them with the mortgage debt.
